Day 8 of no Sugar - 5lbs weight loss


One week off sugar and 5lbs weight loss.  I will take it.  I am crossing my fingers for next week and of course, I am closing my mouth to sugar as well. 


Today I made a few recipes and I had the best meal on this no Sugar life style change.  I made my favorite salad of Arugula, goat cheese, walnuts and raisins.   It is so simple and delicious.  The creaminess of the goats cheese, the crunch of the walnuts and the sweetness of the raisins is insanely delicious.  The recipe is on day Day 2 of no sugar, here. Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!


I made avocado pasta and I will probably have it 2 to 4 times a month forever!  Recipe is here. In the they used 3oz of spelt and 3 oz of Kamut spaghetti.  I used brown rice pasta from Trader Joe's.

I also made stuffed portobello mushrooms with quinoa.  Recipe here.  I did not have any rosemary so I omitted it and I used walnuts instead of white beans.




I put the portobello on top of the arugula salad and the avocado pasta on the side.  Like I said my best meal in a week.



Today I consumed:
1 stuffed portobello
avocado pasta - twice
arugula salad
2 glasses of Mocha Banana Frappuccino
lots of water


Nothing is sweeter than you!
