Day 21 of no Sugar

It has been a week and a half since I have posted.  During the Thanksgiving holidays I was not 100% sugar free for 4 days.  I did not go crazy.  I had a flavored coffee creamer on the four days and I had ice cream one day.  I had Lobster that had sugar in the sauce because I could taste the sweetness.  I did not have cake or cookies or white bread or white rice.

I do not feel guilty because I had planned on having some sugar.  I got on the scale on Monday and did not lose weight.  I thought that might happen because I did have some sugar but it could also be that my body is just catching up to the weight loss of the first two weeks.  At least I did not gain weight.

I am feeling much better.  My bathing suit fits better and today when I leaned on my hand I noticed that my cheeks were smaller.  I believe I may be burning fat.  Two people said I looked better but I do not know if they were being nice or not because they both knew what I was doing via my diet.

Now my appetite has not been the same as prior to my eating sugar.  It just amazes me that I could go so long without eating.  At times I do not even feel like eating.  Yes, I just said that.  I do not believe those words have been in my vocabulary in many years.

I do keep up with drinking water.  No matter how I do not want to eat some days I make sure that I drink at least a gallon of water.  This week I started drinking Deionized water which turns out to be pure water.  I like it and I can taste a difference from my filtered tap water.  I feel more hydrated.  The way I measure my hydration is by a medication I take.  It makes my mouth dry for most of the mornings.  The last few days I have not had the dry mouth.

Today I consumed:
1 Carnival squash roasted with butter and cinnamon
7 Sea Scallops sauteed in coconut oil
lots of water

Nothing is sweeter than you!
